On the road again...

Just wanted to send a picture of our new car. It is a beast, but it runs well and it is nice to get to the store and such. We will be going on a day safari this Saturday and we will see how it does. Stephanie drove a bit yesterday and said, "it's fun." It is crazy having to learn to drive on the other side of the road, not just doing it, but all the mental things that we take for granted that come natural when going the other way. I keep turning the windshield wipers on when I want to turn left. (I think this is how Zambians know who the new drivers are...they are driving around on a beautiful sunny day with their windshield wipers on.) I noticed yesterday that just as people drive on the left, they also walk that way as well in stores and on sidewalks.

Steve and Steph,
I just spent about 45 minutes getting all caught up on your blog, which I haven't read for a while. I am overwhelmed by your comments on contentment, Steve. God impressed on my heart that you are there in Africa, not only to minister to the Aficans, but to minister to those of us here, who read your blog. We need to be reminded of these truths - that we are incredibly blessed, that we are blessed to be a blessing to others, that Jesus is worth our absolute surrender of everything we may hold dear. Thank you for reminding us not only with words, but also with your life. May God change many lives through your service to Him, both in Africa and in the States, starting with me.
