Being a millionaire doesn't satisfy...
I always wondered what it would be like to be a millionaire, and now I know. It doesn't satisfy. There is more to life than money. Because of the exchange rate, 4000 kwacha to one US dollar, we spend over a million Kwacha every week. And because they don't do credit card here much, we have it all in cash. Today I spent almost 2 million kwacha to buy a washing machine. Ours is broken we think beyond repair and we thought since we have outgoing money available, we should move ahead and buy a new machine. (This was like the bottom of the line, but things just cost more here...) So, I pulled out my stack of 20,000 kwachas and started counting. One hundred 20,000 kwacha bills later, I had myself a new washing machine.
